    The 2024 Summer short-term Research camp at the University of Gottingen, Germany, was successfully concluded

    In order to promote cross-cultural exchanges between China and Germany, broaden students' international vision, and improve the level of international education, the School of Foreign Languages organized the 2024 Summer short-term research camp at the University of Gottingen, Germany, to guide students to broaden their cultural and knowledge horizons and comprehensively improve their comprehensive literacy。

     

    When they first arrived in Gottingen, the University of Gottingen prepared a warm welcome ceremony for the research group。Ms. Cherubim, Director of the Language Center of the University of Gottingen, Germany, and Mr. Carsten, deputy director of the Center, gave a detailed introduction to the history of the University of Gottingen's founding, development and research schedule。

    During the study period, students continue to improve their professional skills and expand their international horizons through the study of German language, pronunciation, conversation, writing, literature, art and other courses。At the same time, the students visited the unique castle in their spare time, tasted the special food, enjoyed the classic opera...Experience the foreign culture deeply, and feel the beauty of harmony in different cultural differences between China and other countries。After one month of study, the members of the study group received a language certificate from the University of Gottingen。

    Through this study tour, the students have said: during the study and life in Germany, although the time is short, the harvest is full。Through the immersive learning, training and life experience in the actual context of Germany, my German level has been greatly improved, my cognition and understanding of Germany are more specific, and I have a clearer academic plan for my future study。

    The School of Foreign Languages has always attached great importance to strengthening international exchanges and cooperation, and has established stable project cooperation relations with more than 10 universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Japan, South Korea and other countries, focusing on cultivating talents from "foreign language" to "foreign"。In the next step, the College will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with foreign universities, strengthen the cultivation of international talents, and provide foreign language support for the high-quality development of the school。
